Any extension that is granted must be approved by the program director at onlinelearning@spotsylvania.k12.va.us and by the student's school via the counselor. Incomplete work will be calculated as a zero and a final grade will be calculated based on all coursework, completed and not completed. With this in mind, please ensure that there will be enough time to complete an online course in addition to all regular school classes and extracurricular commitments. Students will have approximately 6 weeks (May 18, 2021) to drop a course with no academic penalty. After this period, withdrawal from a course will be considered as a WP or WF and a failure (F) will be figured into the grade point average.
Courses will be facilitated by a Spotsylvania County Public Schools’ teacher.
Note: Online coursework may NOT meet NCAA eligibility requirements.
Not all applicants who apply will be selected for the program. Acceptance may be determined by grade, counselor recommendation, and facilitator availability. Please submit as soon as possible to help with processing and administrative needs.
